Secure Communication Systems, Inc. (Secure) provides build-to-print and custom contract manufacturing solutions for customers who require a flexible, committed manufacturing partner. Secure was established in 1986 as a manufacturer for the NSA. Secure is now a leading provider of tactical mission computing solutions to all branches of the military.
Secure has provided thousands of tactical computer solutions for users throughout the US Department of Defense, which are being used around the world. Our products are battle-proven and have an enviable record of reliability whether they are used for shipboard, airborne, or ground mobile applications. We integrate commercial off-the-shelf equipment (COTS) into a rugged solution that is reliable and cost-effective. That is why the US Air Force chose Secure to build their Mission Planning Systems for use in their F-15 and F-16 fighters, F-117 stealth fighters, and B-52 and B-1 bombers. The US Navy also implemented Secure products in their Los Angeles class submarines.
When the US Army needed a ruggedized kneeboard computer to provide their helicopter pilots with airborne situational awareness, Secure answered the call. Initially installed on US Army Apache helicopters, the Air Warrior EDM Tablet PC became an indispensible tool to Army pilots and the system-of-choice for the Air Warrior Program. To date, over five thousand of EDMs have been deployed to Army aviators serving in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Secure has two AS9100 and ISO 9001:2008 Certified facilities, one in Santa Ana, CA and another in Austin, TX. The corporate headquarters in Santa Ana include engineering, test, supply chain, and production areas. The Austin facility also features production and test facilities to augment those at the Santa Ana facility. Secure has over 120 employees and is classified as a Small Business.
