  The Secure RPS Air Warrior kneeboard computer system is a rugged lightweight portable workstation that provides the high performance Windows XP Operating System in a configuration optimized for wearable, kneeboard requirements.

  The Air Warrior is powered by the State-of-the-Art VIA Eden ULV processor. The CPU runs at 1GHz and supports up to 1GB of on board RAM, while operating at extremely low power. The EDM features a very fast 3D video processor with up to 128MB of video RAM. A 6.4” diagonal transflective LCD with integrated touch panel provides the system human interface. The display is 640 x 480 pixels with up to 262K colors is sunlight readable, and dimmable to less than 1.5 cd/m2 for night vision compatibility.

  The Air Warrior provides a sealed internal hard disk drive with up to 30 GB storage capacity. The drive features hardware 192 bit TDES encryption and can be zeroized in less than 30 msec. It uses the latest 1.8” drives that are inherently very rugged and low power. An internal battery provides up to 30 minutes of backup to the unit. The basic configuration provides a separate external sealed USB connection as well as power and Ethernet via the mil circular connector.

  The Air Warrior is constructed using a two-piece aluminum chassis. The optional tri-fold and straps complete the kneeboard configuration. The unit is designed to meet the environmental requirements of Army helicopter airborne applications.
